The Ten Commandments is a Brazilian biblical drama television series produced and broadcast by Rede Record, based on the story of Moses as told in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. One of the most ambitious biblical productions in Brazilian television history, the series combines historical research, epic narrative, and dramatic storytelling across 243 episodes, bringing the saga of Moses and the Hebrews to life through richly detailed characterization, visual effects, and large-scale production elements.
As part of the scriptwriters team, I was responsible for developing dialogues, plot sequences, and script revisions, helping to shape key scenes and narrative arcs in collaboration with the lead writer and production team. The show aired daily on Rede Record from March 23, 2015, to July 4, 2016, reaching large audiences and becoming a defining biblical drama of its time. It was exhibited in Argentina, Chile, United States, Mexico, Japan, Poland, Angola, Mozambique, Spain, Portugal, Peru, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic, among others.
